Accessing Windows Updates without IE

You can access all of Microsofts downloads for any product by going to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads using any modern browser (e.g. Opera, Mozilla, IE)

Choose your OS and you can even type in "critical update" as keywords or you can use the category chosen from the list on the left side of the downloads page - Windows (Security & Updates)
