In XPlite Professional you can find TCP/IP Command line tools under the group titled System Tools & Utilities System Tools & Utilities.

Install TCP/IP Command line tools:

TCP/IP Command line tools is a stand-alone component. The function of TCP/IP Command line tools does not rely on any other XPlite Professional components and removing other components in XPlite Professional should not influence TCP/IP Command line tools.

Uninstall TCP/IP Command line tools:

TCP/IP Command line tools is not required by other system components in XPlite Professional. You can safely uninstall TCP/IP Command line tools without compromising other XPlite Professional components.

BUT PLEASE NOTE: You may have other software installed that does require TCP/IP Command line tools. If you encounter any compatibility issues with other software you can quickly and easily reinstall TCP/IP Command line tools using XPlite Professional.


XPlite Professional can completely uninstall TCP/IP Command line tools and reinstall to repair TCP/IP Command line tools on:

  • Windows XP Professional: orig, SP1, SP2
  • Windows XP Home: orig, SP1, SP2
