Clear the Pre-Fetch Cache

Locally stored information used to optimize load times. The cache can accumulate obsolete information. Windows will rebuild the cache automatically over time. Reinstalling just ticks the add emove checkbox. Size varies.

In XPlite Professional you can find Clear the Pre-Fetch Cache under the group titled  Operating System Options.

Install Clear the Pre-Fetch Cache:

Clear the Pre-Fetch Cache is a stand-alone component. The function of Clear the Pre-Fetch Cache does not rely on any other XPlite Professional components and removing other components in XPlite Professional should not influence Clear the Pre-Fetch Cache.

Uninstall Clear the Pre-Fetch Cache:

Clear the Pre-Fetch Cache is not required by other system components in XPlite Professional. You can safely uninstall Clear the Pre-Fetch Cache without compromising other XPlite Professional components.

BUT PLEASE NOTE: You may have other software installed that does require Clear the Pre-Fetch Cache. If you encounter any compatibility issues with other software you can quickly and easily reinstall Clear the Pre-Fetch Cache using XPlite Professional.
